Both Staudt and Dinardo were on Huge and were asked about MSU football. Staudt's comments.... MSU should be no worse than 9-3. They will beat Oregon at home and lost to OSU on the road but they have 2 total toss up games..... he was serious.... The toss up games were UM and Nebraska. Argued that UM will have had a month and a half under Harbaugh and will be ready...blah blah.
In contrast, Dinardo gets asked and his comments were PC nice about UM but emphatically stated that there are only two teams in the Big Ten that can make the final four and they are MSU and OSU and the winner of that game is the survivor. Clearly stated his opinion that UM was behind both schools from a talent standpoint and even had them behind PSU.
Dinardo goes on to the make the point with emphasis that UM/Harbaugh are in for a tough task and that it will not be easy to get back to the top. Said that Meyer and Franklin recruit just as well and that Dantonio is as good as any coach in the country. He said "This is not the Big 2 and Little 8 anymore" and that it will be very difficult for UM even to win the division let alone the conference in the future.
Staudt sounded like a complete Walmart Bloviating tool.
