Martinez is listed as a 4.3 guy. He mentioned he beat his brother in a race. His brother was one of the fastest offensive players MSU has faced in recent years. There was nothing in DM's film that made me think he was slower than a 4.4 guy. He probably will immediately be one of the fastest players on the roster.
OK, at 6'2" 218, the guy runs like Kirk Gibson did back in the day, and plays with the same attitude.
Man, I just don't see this guy at LB. Yeah, he's big and strong enough, but with that size and speed, I'm thinking more safety, RB or WR.
