Opened my Wall Street Journal this morning to see rock legend Jerry Lee Lewis passed away at 87. Remember going up to the Perry High School gymnasium with a group of friends and seeing Jerry Lee with his band and cousin. Small venue, everyone on floor watching, and he gave it his all. I think this was like 1963 or 64. Completely different than todays venues where you have to watch on the big screen.
