Tyler Johnson will be joining the MSU recruiting department after a stint most recently at Jacksonville State under familiar to MSU fans head coach Rich Rodriguez. Before that, Johnson was on the staff at Texas under Steve Sarkisian since Feb. 2022.
Jenna Learn most recently worked for former South Florida coach Jeff Scott running on-campus recruiting operations at USF starting in May 2022 until he was let go after the 2022 season. Prior to that, she was a Football Operations and Events intern dating back to February 2021 while still an undergraduate student at USF.
The two join the growing staff of Mark Diethorn, MSU's Executive Director of Player Personnel hired May 1. Previous hires by Diethorn to his staff include Sam Kukura as Assistant Director of Player Personnel and Dylan Gray as Assistant Creative Director. Sean Levy and Diamond Boston were retained from the previous staff of former general manager Saeed Khalif whose contract was not renewed.
