In case you still read this board, I'll just say this in response to your complaint re: not being able to talk sports on your show lately:
(1) You probably would cite the callers you get as the primary reason for lack of good sports talk. Yet, this is the inevitable issue with your format. You are dependent on callers and don't do interview or guests, so if the fish aren't biting, you're going to come up empty. Plus, your screeners have a reputation for being jackasses and that doesn't help I imagine.
(2) Terry is one of the main issues with this as well. He's a good compliment to you for a lot of reasons, but he has a penchant for sidetracking good sports talk in spite of his status as a long time columnist and sports writer. When you are gone, the show is almost unlistenable if he isn't given a guest co-host, as he will not bring up any sports issues whatsoever.
(3) On a side note, what would be the chance of syndicating to West Michigan so they Huge has legitimate competition? Your show is superior in every way to his except for when he gets good guests.
