Hello everyone. Has anyone here had surgery to release a trigger finger. I had mine yesterday. How was the recovery? Even though I was given a prescription, the pain is still intense above the incision site and have extensive swelling. Dr recommends hand exercises for stiffness but the pain/swelling is making it very difficult. I actually am forcing myself to place my hand down on a table and pushing/straightening the other fingers/hand down. Ice has helped, but am considering using something warm (heating pad) just to get it less stiff. Any suggestions would be appreciated
