I met Trishton Jackson's dad the other day at camp and he indicated that Michigan State was the offer that his son really, really wanted. He hinted pretty strongly that Jackson would commit on the spot, or shortly after receiving a Michigan State offer so it will be interesting to see what happens in this recruitment.
I love Jackson as a player and as a kid. I've seen him play basketball a couple of times, and he carries himself like a winner. I don't know how else to describe it.
Glad to see that he got an MSU offer because I think he is the type of kid that you make room for. You either take him in your class, or you beat yourself up the next four years playing against him.
Recruiting guys like Jackson is something that will help Michigan State keep that chip on its shoulder, and that chip is worth a couple of wins every year.
